Nope, This cage is actually coming out next week and a new one built, that will sit a little lower.
 
Maybe it's me. Maybe I am wrong, but it looks like a hard flop on the lid and it is designed to come down on your head in the middle. I have never seen a center tube bent like that.
 
X2 with what chip said.... id prob try to make the main hoop(behind head) out of 1 piece, and have it strait.... the bent piece will need to be a ton stronger the withstand the same force that a strait one could....

and i would probly try to have that same hoop be 1 piece all the way across and the rest tie into it.... and prob the same with the top of the hoop at the windshield.... remember that triangles and strait lines are your friend... course ive been wrong bfor

cool looking cage though... and if you never get upside you wont have to worry bout it haha
 
Got any pics of the new cage yet? Greg said it was pretty bad*ss.
 
I havent took any since I painted and welded it. I was going to the other night, but somehow I was talked into redoing my dash, and herculining the interior. Oh well, Ill get some new pics soon. Thanks Greg!!!!!!!!!!

it looks better with paint on it! put your pics up where you had it painted! oh and i was thinking about the color for your jeep, it just hit me while i am typing this-FORD BLUE!:bling:

finally got it installed

I still need to make the frame connectors and the seat mounts.

The cage looks awsome. Nice jeep too. Lets go wheeling sometime.
 
That's a bad ass cage!

How's the visibility? Can you get some pics posted up when there's someone in it?
 
Jason, It looks my summer is being eaten away by family and work, but maybe we can get together and hit a couple of local spots some weekend.
