CJ7 or YJ

Which would be a "better" project, a CJ7 or a YJ? I've got a YJ already but I want something to put full widths under. any suggestions?

i'm keeping the yj but i wana build something to add to the collection. i want to build something that will be beaten more often and i want to keep my yj nice. make sense? it would be a later model cj7 also (i found an '83 for the right price), or a yj with a 4.0l.

Get a yj, stronger frame, F.I., less rust, etc..... drop some tons under it and wail on it.

CJ gets more "cool points", but the YJ honestly is a better starting point these days.

90% of the people out there would not know it was a Yj
if you put a Cj front clip on it. With the bigger springs an
the stronger frame you can't go wrong. I'm a diehard Cj
man but the truth is the truth.
