cj7 wiring

I need some help, here is my problem. I've got a 1981 cj7 but it has a 1970 302cid with points. The wiring harness is cut to bits. I'm thinking of cutting all the wiring out and just running new wire's. My question is what will it need to charge and have fire, I'm not looking for any extra wires or boxes on the inner fenders. Is there a basic wiring harness or schematic I could use?

You have a Ford engine? Or an AMC 304?

1970 302 ford from a f100. I guess my problem is bigger than I thought. I got it started with another coil(may have been the whole problem) and dicsonnected all the boxes on the inner fenders and it still ran and charged? I may just take all that off and see what happens. I guess as long as the coil has 12v coming in everything will work.
