I have a AW4 and NP231 swapped into my YJ, one thing that has always bothered me is how low the t-case hangs down. While looking at the back of my spare AW4 the other day I came up with the idea of drilling another set of holes in the back of the tranny to clock the t-case up. It looks like there is enough room on the back of the tranny do do this with no problems, anyone else done this on the back of an aw4 before? See any problems with doing so?

did it. it works fine. Take a piece of plexiglass and cut a center hole to fit around the shaft, then drill holes through the plexi where the current holes are. Then rotate to new position, mark and drill new holes.
