Anybody any ideas where on earth I can pick one up?? They seem harder to find than rocking horse poop!
Tried Ebay, WTB sections on JU and here of course, Jeepsareus.com, dealerships, which tell me they're on back order.
Apparently the clockspring isn't a part which you might think covers universally 1996 thru 2006. For my 2001 TJ only a 2001 or 2002 clockspring will apparently work.....and I need it with cruise control...
Any ideas??

You could ask your local dealership to run a locator on the number. There may be one at another dealership somewhere not too far away.

I just checked my Chrysler website we use at work. No dealers have one, and they are on backorder until an undetermined date.

Sorry for the bad news

Thanks for checking :)

I think I've located one at trademotion.com Anyone done business with them? They have what I want although notsure if they're in stock till I call tomorrow...

Hey WNC,
I have a bead on a clockspring and this a picture from the guy selling it .He's unsure of the year but thinks its an 01 which I need.
Anyay can you check the number from the picture against your catalogue and let me know if this the right one I need?
Cheers

Goes between your steering column, and the steering wheel. It is what allows you to have any buttons on the steering wheel and have an airbag in the wheel. ;) The Chrysler clockspring has been known to not be one of the best on the market. :-X :D

Correct and has a a history of throwing a code which indicates the TPS has crapped out (code 0123) because from what I've learned from teh internets its linked into the same line into the wiring harness. Mine also has made the engine run like crap as well as crapping out the horn.....I'm quitely confident swapping out the clockspring should put things right...

Thanks much!!
