No, no diapers, seats.
Which way to go?

Vinyl - dosn't soak up water, stains, etc. But gets hot/sticky in the sun.

Cloth - will stain, absorb rain/sweat etc, but not as bad in heat.
Preferences? I was gonna go vinyl until I thought about the hat thing.

I'll go w/ grey eithe way just to cut down on heat.

Cordura, its a rubber backed fabric. Water proof but doesn't stick to you went its hot. I have a set of seats here if you would like to see them, we run them in our GNCC Teryx. I plan on having the Teryx at the 4x4 cross also if you'd like to check them out then.

Unfortunately I need these FOR the race, so by then it will be too late. PMing for more info though.

MY seats are vinyl, they don't get too hot in the summer, they are kind of like leather. They are from Hunsaker sports.
Here is there web site I have the syncro seats.

I have to recommend "blue (now faded to gray after XX years) arcrylic monkey fur" seat covers...

OTOH, they are hot in the summer & stay wet for ever, so I'm also looking for seating. In talking with several folks with suspension seats (PRP, Beard, Corbeau), they all said to go fabric ("tweed") as it's cooler than the all vinyl and drains/dries very quickly...

Anything but cloth. Cloth holds smells in it for a while and get dingy and dirty looking very easily.

I have PRP's in cloth, a friend has Mastercraft's in cloth in his Jeep, and we have another cloth PRP in the buggy.

I have no complaints with the fabric versions. I would not go to vinyl, I have seen that when they get wet, they are wet for days. The cloth seats dry out fairly quickly.

6 to 1/2 dozen, I guess.

BTW, if you are ordering suspension seats for the race, make sure they have them in stock, if you want any custom options, they are a 2 month lead.

vinyl. You can wash it off with the hose, wipe it dry with a paper towel, and you are good to go. If it rains in it, all you do is wipe out the puddle, and then wipe dry the seat, takes less than a minute. I'd like to see a cloth seat dry that fast. Vinyl is so much easier to clean as well.

The do get hot in the summer, but not enough to bother me, if its really hot out, i just through a beach towel on the seat bottom. But you could get neoprene or similar covers easily.

So, yes, these are for the race, the old stockers just aren't cutting it (well, actually they quite literally are) on my backside w/ the hard bumps.
I really wanted some PRPs, but they don't have a listing for reclining ones. I found out a few days ago they do indeed make one, but it's not listed anywhere (so how would you ever know???) but by then it was too late for them in time.

I ended up going for the Corbeau Baja RS, suspension seats w/ full recline/flip... in vinyl/vinyl, and they should be here Wed, just in time to bolt in. I plan to get some fablic (neoprene maybe) covers to deal w/ the hot/sticky issue.

Sincec this is in an enclosed 4Runner, I don't expect them to get completely waterlogged, just moist/muddy from riding on rainy days, spilling a coke, etc.
Funny how many opiions there are on this.

and Dave, I've seen your seats - while they're definitely Pimpin... no way in hell.
