Exhaust looks a little close to the pan. Hope you don't have heat transfer issues.

Whats up man? I'm Seans friend with the big Ford on 42s. You planning to have that going by Harlan this year? Looks good!

yeah man thanks how you been  i hope to have it going by may at least the motor done im wanting to do some cage work and im thinking about ditching the coils in the back and putting some air shocks on and putting xj leafs up front and lowering the thing back down a little what you been into you got a build thread on here?

You probably don't remember but I met you in Harlan a long time ago. We borrowed a tent from you one night because I'm an idiot and forgot our poles.

Anyhow, I'm sure you'll like the motor!

yeah i remember whats up i said the same thing on sams thread hate to see it go lol how you been? oh and im going to love the motor lol maybe every night :wheel::Rockon::Rockon:

No I dont have a build thread never think of taking pics of the stuff I do, but I'm always on here posting in the tech forums. Ive been busy though. Doing a solid axle swap on my dad's 88 bronco with my old 44 and 9", and I shortened the wheelbase of the old ford to 108". Moved the rear axle forward 2 feet and cut 3.5 feet off the back of the frame. Did a shackle flip on it too so the rear flex is better and ive got gm tbi on the old tired 351M for now. I'll probably have to build the motor this year so I plan on bumping the power up to around 260-275hp (its got the stock 145 hp now)

Oh yea I was reading your build thread on pirate too and I agree with everyone there you should try to get a MAF sensor on that thing. It makes the computer better able to adapt to changes in altitude, humidity, and barometric pressure and the computer can adapt to addons like a cam or heads, etc better with a maf over speed density.

Also if you have the MAF sensor on there it is the primary sensor used to figure out how much fuel to add. If it takes a dump then the computer will go to "limp in mode" where it reverts back to speed density using the MAP sensor. It will actually run pretty good in limp in mode just with a check engine light on (if you install one). If you get a tune deleting the MAF then there is nothing to fall back on if the MAP dies (not that likely but you never know), so It may not run at all. Redundancy is a good thing here.

 thanks man you are as tech smart as they come and you know how i drive i want it to run the best because i love thhe skinny pedal lol:driver::wheel: you should go 460 fuel injected remember when i dubbed your truck the fuck truck i said it dosn't matter what you do your fucking somthing up lmao

I remember when you said that it was funny. Its at the beginning of s10seans video from last year if you listen close:lol:

I thought about the 460 but its about 250 to 300 lbs heavier and mines front heavy as it is. Plus i'd have to make new onboad air brackets and new exhaust too. I can build the motor its got and nearly double the hp with just more compression and a cam swap pretty cheap, so I'll probably go that route till its not enough then I'll figure out how to get more when I have more money to spend.

Im going to keep following your thead if you keep it updated cause i think its cool. If you have any tech questions you can pm me or post up here and i'll see if i can help. Im not the best at fuel injection but I work with it every day so I know a good bit.

I like it.

What's your beef with Advance Adapters? I bought some stuff from them for my 4.0 to NV4500 to D300 setup and was less than pleased with most of it. Ended up going with the Novak D300 input and still have the AA one sitting on the shelf.

poor service got bad news rolled the jeep at mountain city hydro locked the motor broke 1 rod bent 1 rod and put a hole in the side of the block now im looking for a new motor:poop:
