Well the doubler is installed. One cross member is in, still have to make the one for the 231, but I have a head start with some of the pieces made. Then will come the skid plate.

Added a 1" spacer to get the fan a little closer to the radiator, man how those radiator fins eat at your flesh!

Got the tube fenders made and on, a whole story there in it's self. with my hood, frame and grill all katiwhompaus, it ain't straight, but, it still better that what I had, plus, it gives me more area to put tools, coffee cup and so on.

Engine mount is installed, helped the lean a lot!

Fixed a rock light that I took out on Kodak rock at URE

With the tube fenders, it took all my mounting area on the inner fenders, so plate were welded on to hold all that stuff, re-lays, horn, over-flow bottle, Pane lock off

more to do, but it's coming together, I wish there was more time between now and Dixie Run time, but at the same time, I can't wait!

Tomorrow headed up to Larry's Muffler shop in Taylorsville. I had to cut off my exhaust because of the shifter relocation after the doubler install and the flatter 300. I think I will be going with a Y pipe and single muffler. It will be the first time in probably 6 years that the sound will come from the end of the pipe and not the donut area.

After that, come home, build the other cross member, and skid. Weld on the anti coning ring for my spare 44, paint it and put it all together.

Finish grooving my tires,

bleed my brakes

by then the day will be gone

Git r done chip. My junk is pretty much together and sitting on the trailer waiting for the haul to Dixie.

hey chip, have fun. im not gonna make it.

Daum...............I need some of your go-get-it attitude! I'm still bitching about the heat just running light wiring.

Oh, how about some pics!

Don, I haven't taken the time to take a single pic. When I have not been at work or the little time I have spent in bed, I have been working to wards getting my Jeep done.

My list is long, but, I am chipping away at it a little at a time. The stuff left is easier things. I did the harder time consuming things first.

I am as slow as they come when doing this stuff. I have to think it through and then do it. Along the way fixing my mistakes! LOL

My goal is to have the Jeep finished( not a Jeep is ever finished) tomorrow and then to the Jeep show in Hickory.
Then all the other stuff done for the Dixie by Sunday.
Then it's all camping/four wheeling till next Sunday!

hell, I am jealous of you for even getting to go to teh dixie run, i was planning on going this year, but a serious lack of funds, and two papers due monday are gonna keep me planted here in raleigh......

I've got a brand new magnaflow 2 into 1 stainless muffler in the basement that looks like it's going to be too loud for me. What kind are you looking to put on the jeep?
