somehow I have got 1 screwing with my comp. can anyone give me the best way to get rid of this.

I would try zone alarm suite, just get the trial version of it you will be able to use all the features and if you like you will have the option to buy. I used to use that all the time until I got 64bit vista and ZA wasn't compatible.

If you were screwing your computer, it could be digitial herpies. You'll need to go to best buy and have one of the geek squad guys get there hands on your stuff.

Is it Personal AntiVirus or something similar that pops up every 2 minutes? If so get malware bytes. Its free.

Go to the South Park Mall, enter the Apple Store, purchase a Mac.

most of these are just virus, spyware, mailware blockers. they work great (I like avg too) but once you get one, its best to have a pro go through you system and have them kill it for good. I have done it once but I really hate having to fix registry errors, i just dont have that much patience.

f-secure is nice...

I'd suggest a re-install once all data has been backed up.

Also, I'd suggest getting a mac or learning about ubuntu.

Fawk spending 2-3x as much for a Mac. If you like OSX, just buy a PC and install it on there. I like Ubuntu a lot, but I wouldn't recommend it to my grandmother. People think Windows is a pain in the ass... ha.

Otherwise, use Firefox or Chrome. Keep up with Windows Updates, install an anti-virus application, and fix whatever bad browsing habits that got you infected with some malware in the first place. Rarely have I run across an infected machine where user error wasn't ultimately to blame.
