Hope to have the concrete in our barn/shop/house whatever you want to call it done in the near future, and I was thinking of sealing/coating the concrete. Main use will be parking vehicles but a section will serve as my shop for a while.

Wondering what y'all have used that works good or what didn't work good. Mostly looking for easier cleaning and trying to prevent oil stains.

BM, SW, and PPG all have really good 2-part products. Most of my experience has been mostly SW products that are used in heavy industrial and food/beverage manufacturing concrete floors and have held up very well.

Don’t by that crap they sell at Lowes.

At the very least, wait at least 28 days, maybe 56, before application for best results. Be sure to check SSPC expectations and prep properly for whatever product you use. Checking moisture in the concrete is pretty easy and a must do to be sure it lasts without bubbling.

Any particular sw products you prefer, hopefully something we make at our plant.

I used a densifier and then a sealer. The densifier will soak in and harden the top layer of the concrete and keeps the dust down. I used ghostshield. You can then seal, paint or apply expoy of your choice
