how hard would that be? I know you gotta strip the frame and all the get a tcase

what's a cummings?

Need a 4wd transmission, T-case, Front axle, front and rear DS (maybe just cut the rear to length), and possibly some custom work for t-case/transmission mount (the stock one may work.)

Sell it. Buy a 4x4. Stay clean and be done with it. No reason to do all that work only to end up with something available anywhere in the country from the factory.

yup, buy a 4x4. I though about building a 2wd up too, but then i realized what it would take to do it. I would be cool, but not worth it

It would be worth it if you could get a good deal on a tcase and put a king pin 60 in there....ballin

Buy a complete Ford 60 front, do a little fabbing to properly get it under there.

As far as a transfer case goes, just get an older for divorce mounted 205 and place it behind your 2wd tranny.

Aside from the mounting of the front axle, shouldn't be too bad a job. But is it worth the hassle?

uhhhhh yea

Meh . . . . just buy mine. Its plenty stout.
