I like when he stuck the nut to his lips and broke it off w/ coffee. Hahahaha.

I'd also like to know what kid of tires those were.... at 2500 pounds (Nearly $5k) EACH....

Very interesting. The Hilux was cool and all, but wouldnt a snow cat have been so much more capable and effecient?

I noticed they didnt really use the winch. seems like i would have used that and a pull pal to get outta some of those jams.

I believe the point was to use a commercially available passenger vehicle. Not that anybody can just order up a Hilux built like that....

It really bothered me how roughly he kept driving it. It just seemed, er, stupid. That far in the middle of nowhere, with limited supplies - if you really break something, you're in serious trouble. If you want other videos of polar expeditiions, they drive very carefully, and that's in rigs that are sspecifically built for it.

Not so sure a snow cat would've made it through the Boulder field. Too wide I'd think.
