Copper vs almuninum core radiators

What's the real difference, does it matter.
For wife's Saturn, not driven hard or anything. Don't know what OE is but it's a Saturn so probably the cheapest material.
 
it's probably aluminum with plastic end caps.
 
I'm pretty sure its aluminum, and yes the end caps are plastic. One is cracked and leaking now, hence the replacemeent.
 
copper can be soldiered aluminum can't plastic ends can't be fixed either. If it has plastic ends it is aluminum. copper is painted black if you scrape it you can see the copper color aluminum is silver.
