I install remote (long) draw beer systems so I quite frequently have to drill 3 -4" holes into bar tops. The other day I finally toasted a 1/2 dewalt pistol grip corded drill. Looking to upgrade to a D-handle or spade handle. Company said I could spend near the $200. range. What do ya`ll recommend brand wise?
Double or triple geared. Need one that will handle the load without getting hot. More amps the better?
Thanks

Milwaukee makes great corded drills.

I second Milwaukee, great for constant/rough duty work, we have one thats roughly 10yrs old and still works like a champ. Bosch and Makita are also great tools.

milwaukee hands down...the hole shooter is the best

hole shooter was a name brand they had once upon a time.

Milwaukee it is. Thanks for the info.
Maybe it will throw me off the bar when it grabs!

I had one put 11 stitches in a guys jaw when it bit one time.....he was about 285 or so....

I have a Milwaukee Hole Hog and have drilled a many 5/8" holes through as thick as telephone poles to build barns and floor and wall joists / studs to run electricity. 2 speeds and looked like it had a many miles when I bought it from a pawn shop years ago. It's a side angle drill.
On the other hand, my brother does electrical for a living and bought him a Ryobi multi-angle heavy duty drill that's pretty bad arse! He's a BLING type of guy when it comes to all his fancy tools though. It'll go about any direction besides back towards itself. I bet he paid more than mine. I remember mine being something around $150? I know I wouldn't have went much more back then.
