Crash estimate

Any cops or insurance guys out there who would hazard a guess as to the speed of this collision with the deer? It is/was a pretty damn nice 1997 four runner.

Depending on the size of deer the bend in that bumper would say between 45-55mph. Plastic is easily broken but that bumper would take quite a bit more force especially when NC deer aren’t necessarily that big of an animal (depending on the part of the state your in).
 
I hit one in my Ram going 60 and it didn't do nearly that much damage. But 2500 4x4 vs 4Runner isn't equal of course
 
I hit a deer with an '89 GMC 1500 @ around 45 mph (was braking) & did similar damage...so my guess would be 45-50.
