Besides - if the trailer was well-sealed and full of air - then yes, it would float.

battleships float - and they weight a whole snotload more than a semi. (I'm still trying to figure that one out.)

Well, the whole bay isnt only 10 ft deep, but the part he landed in was. Pretty sure the only really deep parts are the channels where the ships move.
