crf 450

my boss has a 2002 crf 450 that is wanting to sell. ive been thinking about getting it just dont know if its a good deal or not. He told me that he has had it since 03 and has raced it many times . all suspension has been re worked for racing has new henson clutch and basket, hydrolic clutch. he said the engine dropped a valve and he took it to honda and had them go through it and put in stainless steel valves . he has all receipts says tires are bout 80% and he thinks he has the title. he is asking 1500. i havr been riding a 97 cr250 for a few months now and want something 4 stroke for trails and woods maybe even build a dual sport my question is the bike worth it and if i dont like it could i get my money back ? thanks in advance

1500 is a good price. 5 mins on craigslist and you would see that.
