I have a 99 2500 CTD that will not start. I have a FASS fuel pump that is pumping fuel. I just replaced the injection pump 2 hours ago and still will not start. Anyone know what to look at and/or test to determine just what is wrong? Neal

Have you bled the air out of the lines? If not start at the fuel tank to the injection pump, from injection pump to the injectors. Hope this helps

I may take a while to bleed all of the air out of the system. Also, double check your electrical conections.

crack (just crack, dont' loosen too much) 2 of the injectors.. it'll help purge the air. once the engine tried to fire and/or you see the mist of fuel, tighten them back down, and you should be able to start it on 2, and the other 4 will purge themselves out.

How long have you tried to start it?

I ran mine out of fuel and it took almost 1 hour to get it back running. I killed both batterys and I was also using the hand primming pump. What a PITA !!!
