anyone using 1? I traded for 1 awhile back with different ideas for it. now wondering how it would do towing and what kind of mpg's. right now im in the process of putting 37's under it.at 1 point i was thinking about swapping the axles and replacing them with either a set with 3.73 or 4.10 gears. still unsure of which. hopefully make up my mind while putting on the lift. was also wondering about swapping in an overdrive tranny. any suggestions?

I use one, but I swapped in a Cummins and NV4500 :D In it's former state, I first lifted it and ran 11.00R-16 Michelins. Then I decided it needed a built 700R4, so I built one and swapped it in. It did great but I had to pull it out of overdrive at the first sign of any hill. Just didn't have any power with the 6.2. All of this was still running the stock 4.56 gears.

I averaged 17 when it was stock, never drove it much like that though. Probably 6 or 7 tanks of fuel. After the lift it would do about 14 and it bumped up to 16 with the 700R4. Currently, with the Cummins and all of the mods I've done, I can get 22mpg out of it on the highway and usually average 18-19.

We have one, stock 6.2 on h1s and 37 military tires, thing has no power with a trailer behind it. Runs 70 mph decent enough, drives good without a trailer, averages 18 or so I would say.
