I bought a '94 cummins 12v Ppump truck, to swap the motor/trans into my RV. I was wondering what kinds of parts people have laying around for the 5.9s?

Stuff that they maybe upgraded and the old stuff is in the corner?

Also I'm possibly going to be looking for some manifolds that came on industrial applications vs the dodge trucks. I may need these due to fitment/packaging issues.. Not sure what I need but just curious as to any local sources for possible parts..

I'm looking to do ~250hp.. so what do I need to get there? Timing ?

12 valve

I drive one and have friends with them. I have a 98 12v 5 speed. First thing was a pyro and boost gauge. Then a boost elbo and #10 plate. This is where my clutch started to slip. My buddys truck lost his auto with this set up. Knowhe has a servo body and aftermarket torque converter and its good to go. I pull goose neck and tractor around 15-20 thousand. Temp is good just cant let it have much fuel or the clutch slips.

I've got quite a bit of stuff laying around.

my recipe: 215hp stock injectors, good lift pump (i.e. new factory), decent plate #10-ish, ~16deg timing, 3k rpm, good afc setup, S300G turbo (BD super B)

ALSO: have you had a chance to estimate your cruising RPM?

RPM

The cruise rpm Is a big one for your camper.I havethe 5 speed with 410 gears. 235/85/16 tires sing at 2550 at 75. My buddys 373? is around 2150 much better.

Yeah, I recommend shooting for ~2100rpm cruise. Mine is happy at 70mph.... but sucks at 55-60.

A little OT, but I've been thinking about it lately.
