to the point of trying to weld the spring perches and set the caster on the yota axle. its looking like a pain considering the axle tubes are not round tube, with the factory trussing it makes it more square. not much rotating movement even with the u bolts way loose.

so......who can do it and how much if worst comes to worst? i just dont care to try it myself.

iam in kings mtn nc

I know a guy, that might live near you.
He is a AWS/ASME certified welder.
Just saying....

<<<< This guy is in.
I look exactly like my avatar.
Don't shoot..........

Didn't know this was a "classifieds" section :D

I been tied up on other junk, I hope to pull the knuckles off of it and see what the caster reading is like it sits. I still don't see how the rotate the pinion up with the axle tubes not being round. I guess that will be what ever it is. The truck isn't very tall now, I managed to lower it about 2" from the original put together.

What's it cost for the balls? To be cut turned and welded. I could proable do this myself, I just want to avoid the death wobble.

Those are actually pretty easy axles to cut and turn, believe it or not. Give it a quick Google!

I have searched more than I care to think about. I keep google armed and ready 24/7. I think I have it covered now though.

I'd rather cut/turn one of those than a Dana 60.....I've been dreading mine for 2 years now.

I need my axle cut and turned as well any help by someone near Asheboro would be greatly appreciated....Galloways quoted me around $800

$800???!! If that's the normal I will have do it my self.

And I don't believe a driveshaft was included at that price but I can't quite remember. The guys at Galloway's know what there doing and there quality of work shows that and I believe that's why there a little pricey.

ECGS is way cheaper. I was told less than half of that to fix my Dana 60.

I got this one covered. Dude is building a nice ass rig!
