Can you change the pivot bearing on the CV head? I am assuming there is a way, but not sure if you are supposed to or not. ill keep looking around online.

Only if you have the correct spanner spring for polishing the spigot valve. Otherwise, you'll stretch the feather wingnut out of shape causing an expulsion of glandular fluid into the cyclic dehydrator.

AKA WTF are you talking about ?

Point being, nobody has a clue what you are working on. you have nothing in your signature, gave no info other than "CV head".

A simple, " I'm working on the front driveshaft for my Ford, the CV joint ball is in bad shape, I'm finding info about a CV head, but unsure if that is the part I need"

You'd be surprised how much a little info would help.

Read the stickies in the forum you want to post in, they might save a little time.

oh, and BTW, might try talking to Carquest, I know at one time you could get a rebuild kit for the problem you are having, new ball, spring and socket with grease fitting.

Try to find a counter geek who has some REAL parts experiance, they will know what you are talking about.
