What bolt pattern and input spline count does a FORD D20 TC have? I know the Jeep version has the "texas" pattern and was wondering if the Ford version was identical except for which side the front output was on or if the pattern was reversed or a completely different pattern all together

Different pattern, different case, different shift mechanism, and different gears. It's a round pattern. The bronco box is a much better choice than the scout or jeep 20 though.

OK, what pattern is it? Like a std. D300/NP2xx 6bolt round?

What makes it "different"?

I figured it would be somewhat different given the front output and not wanting it under the drivers feet...

I'd heard they had a little deeper gearing, but ???

Any reason(s) other than the old Chevy vs Ford debate?

No, not a standard size...it's just called a "round pattern 20". It's different in pretty much every way, it's just called a dana 20...Just like a front and rear dana 60 share very little. Eb's had two different 20's, the earlier T shift and the J shift, the J shift being made after ~71 and also being super easy to convert to a twin stick setup. The eb's case is stronger than the jeep's, and as you know has deeper gears and the front output on the other side. Etc etc etc. I could care less who makes what...if it works it works. Besides, it's all built by dana-spicer anyway.

T-shift has a 2.46:1 low gear and the J-shift a 2.2?:1... I'm not too familiar with the Jeep case, but I can tell you the EB case is a heavy Beeaatch.
