hey everyone, im currently deployed to Afghanistan, I have a few months left and have been gathering parts to build another xj. I bought a front waggy d44 to swap into my Xj, already geared and locked and ready to bolt in. I was wanting to ask, if I have the vacume lines to activate the 4wd on my d30, is there anything I need to do to make the 4wd work with the new d44. Im relaying this info to my buddy who is helping me build this. Any info is helpful, I tried searching but the internet here is very very slow.

Thanks

Matt

negative, the new dana 44 isnt a vacume disconnect just the d30

Ypu dont need the vacuum lines for anything, follow them to the source and plug em. All they do is lock the 2 piece passenger side front axle shaft, the tcase action (4HI, 4LO, 2HI) is controlled by the shifter.

roger that, thanks so much for help guys you dont know how much time you have saved me!!! happy thanksgiving to all, wasn't able to find much turkey in hajiland this turkeyday, but did have haji pizza hut and I can settle for that over poptarts anyday :)
