Who's running a Dana 44 with 5.38 gears up front on there rig and a taco rear with 5.29's. What problems have you encountered and how do make up for the difference in the gearing to make sure you don't ruin the transfer case.

I installed these for hardtaco and he has seen no adverse effects, they are close enough, w/ that said i would not go driving it in 4wd on the pavement for a few 100 miles either. The only thing you could do is run a worn out set of tires in the rear and a good set in the front. A size change would offset it as much as a gear change, unless boggers tsl run a bit different height but same size that could work.

just run it it will be fine.
