which dana 20, ford or jeep? ford could be without too much work... jeep could with an adapter or modified tailhousing, and you would haveto make sure the bull gear got proper engagement...
the easiest way to get flat belly, is raise the drivetrain up, which isnt that hard on a cj, but if stock wheelbase, you may have a steep rear driveshaft angle...
its on my cj5. i knew the driveline angle would come into play. hopefully will be moving the rear axle back about two or three inches when i do the SOA
typically there is a few inches over top the tranny/tcase that you can move it up, plus is you get rid of the tall factory bushing/mount, a flat skid should be possible...
thanks it looks like if i could raise it 2-3 inches and get rid of the bushing it would clean up the underside nicely with out rotating the case. i just wish i could stretch it more than just 2-3 inches in the rear to help the drive shaft angle. when it comes time for this. may have to fork over the cash for a cv type drive line.... for all this to work out right
