dana 30 front locker

my zj is a daily driver and i want a front locker or limited slip what will work with the least drivability problems or should i leave it open ? it is not full time 4x4

Limited slip or a selected locker (ARB, etc) gets my vote.

get a lockright or similar lunchbox type full-time locker. you will not even know its there until your in 4WD. If you did have full time 4x4 however, this would not be a good option.

exactly what i was about to type, i have a lockright, other than a couple little noises in VERY tight turns, it is completely unnoticable, except when in 4wd, and this mod has made more difference than anything else i have done to mine

you will just be disapointed in the long run w/ a limited slip in my opinion.

how well do they turn while in 4wd

i wont say you cant feel it, but it has never kept me from making any turn i would have made un locked, but i think it helps that i am not locked in the rear right now

i can hardly tell i have my aussie in the front. i would just get a lunchbox locker like everyone has said so far.

I have ridden with a few guys who had aussies. Couldnt tell at all. I plan on getting one for mine up front.
