Dana 30 gear help.

I have a Ford 8.8 rear axle with 4.11s. I need 4:11/4.10s for my high pinion Dana 30, but I'm not sure if I just need the gears, or if I also need a different carrier. If anyone has any info that can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

I belive you will need a new carrier to run 410

There is no carrier break for the Ford 8.8. All gear ratios use the same carrier.

I think the break is 373/410 for the 30 so you would need a new carrier.

What's the ratio in the HP30? Dana 30's have break at 355/373. So anything 3.55 or numerically lower will use one carrier, anything 3.73 or numerically higher will use the 706008x high series carrier.
