So I went to replace my inner axle seals today and found out that the pinion has a few chunks missing. Nothing grinding or binding, still rides smooth. I had to get it back home so put it back together and rode smooth on the drive home. Is there someone closer than @Jody Treadway that can help install ring and pinion? Keep it rolling until something worse happens because ring and pinion need to be replaced anyway?

ECGS would be my recommendation too, but if you want to try it yourself, I have most of the tools you'd need and can drink beer and tell you you're doing it wrong :D

Yea I've had them do a set of axles years ago before they moved farther away.

I'm no engineer so anything past a MM I don't have the patience for.

it's got 4.56 with a 4.0 and 5spd on 35's.
I was asking in case it was a Spicer brand, which it's not being a 4.56.
If it were Spicer, you could read the variance numbers and determine shim selection by that number. If your case, I'd holler at ECGS unless you wanna take @CLRracer up on his offer.

Yea I still might take him up on his offer. I'm going to call ECGS today and find out how much it would be if I just bring the axle with the shafts already taken out. It's got a limited slip in the front thinking about a locker but that might just make all this worse next time.
