my 300 in the buggy. tera 4;1 gears, jb HD rear output. stock front output has a lot of play in it. how do you tighten bearing preload?

Endplay is adjusted by shims behind the retainer plate on the back of the case. Also, you don't want any preload, just remove the play.

where can i get more shims?

Take them out to make it tighter.

The shims are on the outside of the case.

just took it apart. removed a shim, seems to have fixed it. thanks. dave

if thats to tight...i may have some random ones here in the shop that might be thinner than what you took out.
