Was at the pullapart today. Saw a ZJ with rear discs. Thought about putting a set on the TJ. Anyone done this? Is it as easy as I am thinking it might be? Not sure on the parking brake cables or proportioning valve. Any info is appreciated.

Let me start by saying this before someone else does: I wouldn't advise investing a nickel into the D35 not worth it. But thats up to you.

That said, I am not sure on the Conversion, But the Prop Valve is fine if you remove the rubber ring from inside it, I did it with the 8,8 when I installed it.

If you want to get it go for it. It will eliminate the c-clips. It's a very simple swap and it will bolt up to a 44 also. You need to get the E-brake cables also so they will work. But I agree that a D35 ain't worth it unless you plan a 44 swap later. You could save that money and get a 8.8. If you already bought it I'll take it off your hands

thanks for the info. i was thinking about the 8.8, but hadn't found a good 4.10 axle yet. where did you guys get your brackets for the swap, and how much did you spend all together? i can do the fab work, just debating time and money, plus trying to find an axle...

Ditto on the Ford 8.8 to get disc brakes on the TJ. Same bolt pattern and you can further upgrade it with a Supr88 kit.
