Dana 44 w/ 14 bolt SF

So I need some advice, I'm starting a build on a '85 k-20 (mud more than crawl) as of now I have swapped engine for a 350 4 bolt, rebuilt the 700r4, 4" suspension lift, and rollin 37" military OZs. My question is should I keep the Dana 44 and 14 b SF and switch to 4.56 gears with some lockers. Or should I swap the axles for some CUCV 1 tons w/ the dana 60 and 14 b FF w/ the 4.56 gears and lockers? I'm new to this so any comments/advice are welcomed

Go ahead and save your self the headache and money and do the 1ton swap from the start.
