I am going to be doing a high steer on my new GM d60.

Where should i get the High streer arms from

I guess that depends on what your doing and what your plans are.. I've got a set of WFO behind the axle steering arms. This set removes the spring in the cap and you use shims to preload the bushing. It fits my setup perfectly but could see where it might be in the way on others.. YMMV

i ran wfo arms on my 60 too, behind the axle, they were nice, and great service.

DO NOT run shakerbuilt arms, crappy service, crappier products. i bought his arms first, they sucked, were not drilled correctly, and the tapers were incorrect. broke 3 3/4 bolts in my steering setup b/c of the crappy design.

I run Sky Mfg. on mine. Happy widdem so far. They still use a spring, which could be better or worse.

I'll second the no shakerbuilt arms, I have one on my truck and I plan to get rid of it very soon. The quality is not there and the taper is wrong, and there isn't an easy way to fix it.

I had the shaker arms on my buggy. He gave them to me for free so I didnt complain and just ran them. The only thing is his studs are grade 5 and bend easily, just replace them with some grade 8 1/2x2.75 bolts. I didnt care about the taper as I ran heims.

The thing I don't like about the Poison Spyder arms is that they're not set up to be used with studs. Yeah, you can use bolts, and you might never have a problem, but studs and conical nuts are clearly a better way of fastening the arm.

Having broken bolts in steering arm before, I'll have to second this. ANY movement between the arm and knuckle will eventualy cause bolts to break. It may take 10 years, but I'd rather use the studs/cone nuts-preferably 5 of them.

I bought mine today from Trevor at WFO..great guy!......... OTT and Sky wouldn answer the phones to im glad Trevor got my business
