Dana "super" 70 front axle

Anyone messed with the newer dana 70 front axles from under a 5500 topkick? I have access to one with no outer C's on it. It has a 35 spine outers but is a wide axle. My toghts are to get it and put 60 outers on it. The C's on this thing are huge. This thing is beefy and have been told that shares the same shafts as the 60's only longer. Any info and/or input would be great. I ran the numbers from the tag on Dana web site and came up with nothing and after a phone to Dana they said it was a super70 front, not the same 70 from the early 80's.

70 rears use 35 spline shafts (at least some of them do), and I was thinking they use the same size shafts (if 35 spline) as the D60. Don't quote me on that though.

Question is, what the heck would you put it under?

My buggy. Between me and Eric I think I can change a front toy center with trail tools(no air or cordless) in less than an hour.

Call or E-mail Steve at Differential Engineering in Florida...I'm sure he can help with more info...he custom builds a lot of big Dana stuff...http://www.differentialeng.com/DanaProducts.htm Are you sure it doesn't have 37 spline shafts...??
I got some Dana 80 rear shafts from him that no one else had.
