I have had a screwed up back since 2000 when 96 year old man, who was still driving, played Dukes of Hazzard over the berm median that used to be on Freedom drive in Charlotte. His Chrysler LHS landed on top of my Subaru GL.

I had back surgery 3 years ago where they replaced 3 vertebra with nice titanium aftermarket pieces. Things have been fairly good since then.

Yesterday I was cleaning up a body shop, and I stood up ( not lifted) an S10 door shell. I swear someone stabbed me when I did it. I haven't hurt this bad since the surgery. It has not been an enjoyable day at all.

Man, I feel for anyone who has back pain or surgery, I’ve had 3 back surgeries myself. If you get checked out and there is no structural damage, I recently had good luck with dry-needling. The therapist from my surgeon’s office puts in needles like acupuncture, but then runs electrical current thru them.

Good luck.

I've been down with back problems before. That sucks seems like every muscle is tied to your spine cause moving anything hurts with lower back pain. I've got degenerative disc disease. No surgery yet. So far I can get by with an occasional chiropractor visit. Got sciatica pain often though.

Hope you get relief soon.

You and every other middle-aged adult.
Right?
That's back doc language for nothing is apparent but we want your money

I feel your pain, I bent down to grab a bottle of soap out of the shed yesterday and haven't been able to stand straight since. I just got done crawling to the bathroom because after 20 minutes of trying to stand up I said screw it!

Hopefully a day of rest cures us both, otherwise my better half says she is taking me to urgent care.....good luck with that, she can't carry me down a flight of stairs!
