Dangerous Drives covers Extreme Offroaders

Ill have to set my DVR.

TY!

It was actually pretty cool.

It was more of an extreme trail ride through the mountains of Utah on rocky, sandy, muddy (flash floods), deep snow at high altitudes.
some trails that are literally carved into the slope of a mountain - up on driver side and waaay down on the passenger. Luckily not cambered too bad on hairy spots, if it was, one of those vehicles would have slid right off.

I'd love to go out there and wheel - they drove for like 3 days and didn't see a soul. Had to carry tons of fuel though.

its on a few more days until April. check the link for times.

I loved how the show played up the danger of 4wheelin, that sure helps the general public accept our hobby! I watched with my mother-in-law and had to explain about 20 times how that it's not as dangerous as this damn tv show portrayed it. Sure there is always a chance you could get hurt but come awn. The wheeling was pretty cool but those guys from AEV were some wheelin' nerds. It was just funny how they discussed 4wheeling with such proper grammar and etiquette. Don't get me wrong, the show was great it just had a few quirks to it that annoyed me a bit.

yeah the dudes' 'talking' got to me too a few times.
I think it had to do with the image they want to portray for the general public watching the show.
You know they were thinkin about it when the Speed channel said "hey we wanna do a show on you guys!'

anyone catch where they were showing the brute with the hemi and said it was tough to fit a v8 in where a v6 was?

show was lame. Thought there was going to be some crawling, not just a snowy trail ride. The landscape was nice looking, but not nearly as extreme as i thought wheeling at moab would have been.

The part about the iced over puddle was hillarious... it was soo done up for tv, they were soo timid trying to keep the mud off their $80,000 Brute/Hemi/wannabeFactoryoptions/JK rigs. I loved how the first guy had to take 3-4 tries to bust through other side...

Even my wife thought it was quite lame..

Though I will give respect to expedition style wheeling.. I have NO desire to try it.

It was alright but I was hoping for some better Rock climbs/ sections. 3/4 of the show was plowing through snow. It was nice to see more 4wheeling on TV. Makes you feel like the sports getting bigger and it wasn't bashing us as guys who destroy land which is always good.

i watched and it was alright, but the whole show until the last 2 minutes made it seem like it was no fun. didn't agree with that at all
