Davie County trail ideas

I would like everyone's opinion on something. I live on a 220 acre farm in Advance, NC. I own 27 of that 220 and I would like to see who would be interested in making some trails. I have talked to Joel who lives up at the top of the road and he said we should try and do something like this. I would just like to see who would be interested. This would be a future project as I am in the process of buggy building right now, but I think this could be a good time for all of us. What do you guys think? We could get some rocks, there is already hills and plenty of mud to go around.

Location: I-40 exit 180 - I live about 3 miles off of the exit.

You know I am all in. I have 3 other local guys that are interested in helping out and a 1/2 dozen non-locals that wouldn't mind helping out as well. I am sure there are many more out there as well that are willing to help now that they know. Let me know when Ryan.

I wouldn't say the Heep is awesome but it does pretty well for how little it is built. Was I supposed to call you on the 4th or were you supposed to call me? I couldn't remember so we watched both fireworks from the Kinderton business park.

i can help out and possibly get a Front end loader up there occasionally, depends on the availability of my dads truck to tow it.

We have a Ford 3930 with a loader on it - We also have a couple of old 1 ton dumps to use in building.

That's a very generous offer! When I'm not working 20+ hours on the weekends, I will be there..

Exploder - Since one way I could get there would be through W-S, if he's got a trailer, I can tow it...

You will be surprised at how little land it will take to make some decent trails... look at the Devils Playground pictures, all of that is within a few acres! Something to keep in the back of your mind is BOULDERS...if you see some being moved/taken up, stop in and ask them if they are "throwing them away"...if so, see if you can get them loaded onto a trailer or "dumped" even at your property!

(Man made obstacles!!!)

Since this is 20 miles from my house, more than happy to help...I have a Massey Ferguson tractor with front loader and can bring it sometime as well.

if you go to the dump there are usually 60+ inch tractor and heavy equpment tires getting thrown away. i have seen some cool buried tire obstacles before on pirate

You are right - I have seen that as well - you don't have a TH350 or NP 205 do you?

Hey, I think I can get access to a 955 Kitty CAT trac loader. We need to find some big objects - rocks, tires, whatever you guys think. Do you guys want me to post some pics? Good deal scarface - we will probably need that. Everyone need to keep there eyes open for Construction sites - I will talk to the guys up at Kinderton to see if they could bring some unwanted debris down.
