Thinking of getting some of these. They are supposed to be softer than normal poly bumpstops. The only other option I can think of are the 4.5" tall poly ones with the slots in them, but these are alot cheaper. Any suggestions?

Also, bad idea to use the EVS shock bumpstops as an actual suspension bumpstop? I would think so since it would transfer all the weight on said shock to the shock mounts and shock eyes, which are not normally load bearing.

I'm going to be using Timbren

I asked "Are they suitable for use as the primary bumpstop?"

sales(at)daystarweb.com answered "Depends on the application you using them for."

not exactly the answer I was wanting, but the 2.5" length works perfect for me. Will be getting a set soon.

Talked to Andy at CRS and decided that using these as a primary bumpstop would put too much stress on the shocks, particularly the mounts and the shock body itself. Shocks just aren't designed to have that much weight on them. I haven't had bumpstops in the 5 years i've been wheeling my Heep. Don't need 'em now.
