Wifes car set the check engine light agin. This time its P0440 Emission control system malfunction. Can any one narow that down a little. Car is a 2000 Sunfire 2.2L a little over 100,000 on it. Had a new cat and both O2 sensors within the last 7-8,000 miles. P0420 that time.

Check the gas cap. If it's loose it will set a CEL. Not sure about the exact description on the code though.
