okay so the gf has had some death wobble for awhile, she has a 02 f150, on 33's....bret and i deduced that the cause of the problems was the idler arm for the steering being slap wore out(same problem on his chevy). Tonight went over there and put on a new one, went to drive it and BOOM death woble WTF! we checked everything to see if there was any play anywhere and cant find any, nothings loose etc. Alignment maybe? she has oem style shocks on it? we are just at a loss, and i dont feel that its very safe with her drivin it. She laughs at it like its funny or something, drives me crazy. I hope somebody has any ideas

Are the tires balanced correctly? In my experience that can be a pretty common cause. If they're good then check wheel bearings, balljoints, tie rod ends, etc.

okay so the updated official deal with the truck is that its better than it was...but still not gone....time to start chasing the ghost

idea's.....tierod ends have been changed not too terribly long ago....gonna take it to an alignment shop and have them check it out i guess....
