ok here it goes i have a1993 zj 3.5 in of lift drop track bar brackets, lowercontrol arms. i did every thing right (i hope)
i started have death wobble it would happen about once a week. Now it is a every time thing.I put upper control arm bushings, outter tie rod end, steering stablizer. still getting a bad case of death wobble. Any ideas what else to try ?

ball joints and tie-rod ends.

If it's not just worn out parts, then it's your geometry (mainly, your castor angle needs to be back about negative 4-6 degrees).

have you checked for play in your balljoints? tie rod ends? track bar bushings? steering box?

death wobble is almost always easy to fix if you have a good alignment and an eye for a worn bushing/rod end....

We checked everything. It has new upper control arm bushings, new driver outer tie rod end, good lover control arm bushings and a new steering stabilizer. We checked the ball joints by prying up on the tire and couuldn't find any play at all. All the other tie rod ends are tight and seem to be ok and we couldn't find any play. As far as the steering box goes we couldn't find any play there either. Track bar also checks out good. I don't think it's a steering geometry thing due to the fact that the lift was on it for a while before any death wobble occurred. I guess the next step is to get an alignment done and see what happens from there.

how are the tires? uneven tire wear or worn out tires also can affect death wobble. also worn out sway bar links can cause it too. my cousin's cherokee had death wobble until he put new tires on it. we did everything right with the suspension and track bar, but it wasn't completely fixed until he put tires on it.

wait....you havent gotten an alignment yet???

man...get that done...should be your first step after a lift or other suspension parts.
not to mention it'll keep your tires from wearing poorly

What size tires are you running? For the most part it is the same settings but as the tires get larger you may want a little more toe in than stock. Does it have the castor adjusters built into the lower control arm mounts on the Axle?

I had it bad for a while and we couldn't find anything but ended up being my wheels were bent

He's running 33/12.50/15 TSL's. I think the alignment did the trick. The caster was at 4 degrees and was set to 5 degrees and it had way too much toe in. Just talked to him and he said it was running just fine down the interstate.
