Deer hunting......Jeep style

So I guess I was Destined for this one today.

First I wake up late after staying up doing Vinyl stuff, then after gassing up this morning I decide to take my secondary route to work up NC109 instead of US311.

I'm riding along, minding my own business listening to the talk radio show go on about the Auto Bailout when out the corner of my eye I see what had to have been an 8 or 10 point just as he slams into the Passenger front door of the ZJ. Glass EXPLODED all over the inside even scared the Tinting on the Driver rear door window.

It took out both Passenger side doors and neither will open, and then hit the rear 1/4 and also cracked/busted the rear tail light.

Anyone have ZJ passenger doors? If I can just bust out the rear hatch glass that'll take care of all the original glass on the Jeep.

Some folks sneak around quietly in the cold woods for hours at a time to do that....amazing, you did it with a jeep!!

The guy behind me stopped to check on me, he said that was the biggest Deer he'd ever seen, but he only occasionally hunted. He said it hit me and turned and ran off. If it's not dead or dying, it probably could use several hundred mg of Asprin.

No kidding, Ive been in the woods 20 times this year with my long bow and havnt shot a deer yet. This SOB gets one on the way to work...

yep, took the handle with him, but left the mirror hanging, so I cut the wires and tossed it in the seat.

Actually this Jeep has a Nuclear setting on the heater. Surprisingly, I was still toasty warm.

Same thing happened to my friends YJ and insurance totalled it. Glad you are ok. I guess you stayed up too late working on my stickers, haha.
