I'd say $5000 MAX on that one, and I agree that this one is in great condition from what you can tell in photos. It's still 20 years old they aren't collectors items.
I bought a good condition '98 with a 2-3" lift for $3k. But it had 208k on it. Runs great, but there's always going to be issues with old vehicles that haven't been been gone through from stem to stern with a fine tooth comb.

And this is exactly why I tell people that I prefer to negotiate in person. They'll jew you down via text, then come look at it and find a bunch of nit-picky things and try to jew you down some more, even when the issues are clearly listed in the ad. (No offense to the Hebrews, Israelites, or those who practice Judaism)

Beware 96 is a bastard year. Regardless I have not seen a XJ that clean in sometime. I would feel bad taking that thing offroad.
