What's the best method you guys have used to clean carpet....without having to remove it from the truck?

I just bought a 2003 Tundra....and while the carpet isn't bad, it isn't where I want it to be.

I don't mind spending some time on it. I just don't know the best method for cleaning it.

Thanks.

Blue Magic. It's work's real good on blood:smokin: says so right on the can.

On a serious note When I worked at Autozone we used to sell the stuff by the case to the local dry cleaner for above purpose. They claimed nothing else could touch it.

I have always heard brake cleaner works very well you just have to clean it with soap and water right after words.

I have had great success taking it out and using a carpet cleaner machine....its surprisingly simple to take all your carpet out.

For spots, tough stuff and a scrub brush work well enough.

x2 remove carpet. On my old tow rig (juggys new tow rig) it had several (yes several) grenaded coffees, cigareete ash pile and gooey candies etc.. 5 min to pull seats.

Lay out on ground and clean with carpet cleaner type vac. It took several passes each producing chocolate milk but it clean up great AND it dried much faster being outside... Carpet is like brand new (almost).

My mother told me that carpet shampoo method is the most traditional and oldest method of cleaning carpets. Do you wanna know why? Because shampoo cleaning is the most economic carpet cleaning method.
