Has anyone been on I-95 in georgia between savannah and brunswick and seen a field on the left (going to florida) with maybe 30 duece and halfs and many other equipment? I could not get the number fast enough and could not find a road to get to that for miles.

Nevermind, the company below is on the other side of the state. Still...

Maybe CSI?

If it's them, they have got some decent prices on rockwell parts/seals, boots, etc. I haven't checked on their vehicle prices.

If you call them, talk to Tom. He knows what's up.

May be a dumb question to some.
What class drivers license does one need to drive a duece on the road & be legal?

To answer your question Jeff I would say minimum class B. I just came thru there yesterday and saw they had a sign but did not get a number the place is in Brunswick Ga I think

i could be wrong, but i thougt i remembered someone saying you didnt need anything special to be legal with a duece.

I don't think you do. They have air-assist brakes, not just air brakes. I'm not sure if the weight of it makes them require another class, but I know air brakes alone do.

Regular license....if you can drive a car you can drive a deuce

Not quite right
You have the answer in your post but you have it backwards! it is BECAUSE they only have air ASSIST brakes not full on air brakes that they are exempt from cdl. Also, as long as you are using it for pleasure you don't even need weighted tags. So a regular drivers license is all you need, and as long as you aren't hauling a ton you're fine with regular plates. If you want to haul a lot, just alike a pickup get a weighted tag.

I know a lot about these things....any more questions feel free to ask. And if you want one let me know. I just sold one today, but i've got another for sale and i will have another one up once i get a few small issues it has taken care of. They're real cheap and easy to own. I got into them because i wanted something i could take the top off and take off road with some friends....couldn't afford a wrangler so i got a deuce....and then i was hooked

Um, that's exactly what I said. Sorry for not spelling it out so clearly, I thought about editing it after I posted and read it, but I'm feeling pretty lazy tonight.

Way to be on top of things and clear up my thoughts.

well from what I understand air brakes are not part of a cdl now. You can drive an air brake vehicle as long as it is 25,998 or lower. before if it had air brakes then you needed a cdl.
