just picked up this M35A2 ... through a trade on here about a month ago. love this site and big thanks because couldn't of found this jewel without you all. many plans to come. just did a 12v trailer conversion so i can tow with any standard 7 pin 12v trailer. used the relay method to step the voltage down to 12 and worked great. found some cool stuff at lowes and made a waterproof housing under the rear.... and a 100 foot drop cord done the trick:) big tires are coming soon.... i hope before rockvember..... and yes i'm going to give it a shot at towing there and see how it goes! at about 50 mph for 169 miles...lol if it dosen't work out i guess i will just use the truck.

supposed to be tow rig ... opps

Put a sliding flat bed on it & put the xj on the back. Ditch the trailer.

if i took the spacers off it might SQUEEEEZZZE in the stock bed. but not sure if i would be over 13'6 height for overpasses. need to measure. hmmm

I'd say your xj and trailer are screaming for a shot of OD paint!

Nice deuce! I love the military trucks. I haven't really looked into them but is there anything to help get the mph up on the highway?

Gotcha. I knew about the larger tire trick, but its a wonder someone doesn't come up with an overdrive unit or something....

defentaily bob it and go for some 52's and make a bed for the xj to fit on the back. kind of like they did on xtreme 4x4.

I believe the 3053 is the direct drive tranny from the old gassers. The 3053A is the OD tranny from behind the multifuel.
