I am in the process of purchasing a similar vehicle. Do you know what series transmission you have and what has happened to necessitate a teardown? I hear each series released got better. I think the one I am looking at has the "46" series? Because it too is an automatic, I may search for a manual but they suck in the Raleighwood traffic.

03 and up have the 48re or 45rfe
pre 03 are 46 and 47re's, they are all basically 518 transmissions tho. The only real differences are in the valve body. Same internal hardparts, and many of them interchange
