diff cover questions?

is the dana 25,27 and 30 all use the same covers? ive heard some say they are some say the arnt


if any opinions on crane vs arb? for diff covers

anyone in hickory have a old dana 30 cover they wanna sell or loan me to test my theory??
 
I used a dana 30 diff guard on a dana 27 ...bolted right up

crane and arb are both pricy "bling" covers....I'd just go with diff guards or maybe the cheaper/homiemade covers...my $.02

if you have a dana 25, its probably out of a military M38a1 and should have a thick cover from the factory...

ok thanks but i gots the dana 27A (thin cover) but ive regeared 5.38 and put new warn hubs,hardened shafts,spicer ujoints and all new everything else and dont wanna risk it i got a dana 44 in the rear with a crane cover but i want to have the front just as strong but i dont wanna blow over a 100 on something im not shure will fit
 
a dana 30 cover will fit the dana 27a...there are lots of nice diff covers out there nowadays...if you got all that, whats another $100...Crane is one of the best one's..
