running the seperate tie rod and drag link is the better option becuase when you run the inverted-t style all the force of both tires as well as the force of the steering box is running through that one passenger side tie rod end. at least with the seperate tie rod/drag link if you break the tie rod you can still steer the right tire and if you break the drag link at least the tires are still tied to each other. breaking a tie rod end with the inverted t setup will leave you totally stranded.
tapping the DOM is cool, but welding in inserts is much easier and you can make it the exact length you need. we sell a kit with 4 tie rod ends, jam nuts, tube inserts and 2 pieces of 1.5"x.250 DOM for $200. price is the same for the iverted-t style or the seperate tie rod drag link.
