Dishnet, odd request

So we stepped in to the 21st century today, we finally have cable, highspeed 'net and Voip available to us.

We got hooked up and life is much better now.

So I call Dish network to cancel satelite service that we have had for the last 5 years, We own the system, bought it at Target in 2000 when you could still do that. They acknoledged that I do on the system.

I get to keep the reciever, and the dish, they want the LNB's back, the reciever ends that stick out on the arm.

Never saw anything in the paper work about this, was never mentioned during the hook up conversation. They are sending prepaid box for them.

Anyone know WHY ? what makes these so important ? and shouldn't I get some sort of credit for them ?

not really an issue, just something I found odd.

any ideas ?

KevinJust ignor it I think they don't what people to pirate the dish signal because you can do it if you still have all of the parts.
and you are right Dish network Suck compared to TWC
